Held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a global giving day that inspires individuals to come together and pour into causes meaningful to them. Since its establishment in 2012, Giving Tuesday has become a movement synonymous with philanthropy and positivity across the world.
As we approach Giving Tuesday on November 28, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation invites you to join the movement with a gift to one of our assistance funds.
These four funds provide critical assistance and support to our collegiate and alumnae members facing various challenges:
- Alpha Chi Assistance Fund: Member assistance fund that provides aid to collegiate and alumnae members facing financial difficulty due to life-changing circumstances.
- By donating to the Alpha Chi Assistance Fund, you make a profound difference in the lives of our members who may be navigating personal crises and emergencies. Your gift upholds one of the most meaningful aspects of Alpha Chi Omega membership, the comfort of knowing you have the support of loyal sisters through life’s difficult moments.
- Alpha Chi Educational Assistance Fund: Educational assistance fund that provides needs-based scholarships for collegiate and alumnae members.
- The cost of a college education is rising, and many of our collegiate members struggle to afford both the sorority experience and the costs of school. Contributing to this fund helps to alleviate that financial burden and empowers our sisters to reach their academic potential.
- Disaster Relief Fund: Member assistance fund that provides support to collegiate and alumnae members impacted by natural disasters.
- Supporting this fund means you are helping our sisters rebuild their lives following a life-altering event and lighting the way forward on their lifelong journey as an Alpha Chi Omega.
- Real. Strong. Women.® Fund: Annual fund that gives us flexibility and agility to respond to the greatest need of the Fraternity and our members.
- By donating to the Real. Strong. Women. Fund, you help Alpha Chi Omega continue its mission of providing a relevant and transformational collegiate and alumnae experience.
