Each year, Alpha Chi Omega recognizes and honors our members as they reach their 10-, 25-, 50-, 60- and 75-year anniversary milestones. Every milestone is a special opportunity to share sisterhood and memories of our bond over the years.

HOW ARE MEMBERS NOTIFIED?
Members celebrating their 10-, 25-, 50-, 60- and 75-year milestones receive communication from Alpha Chi Omega at the beginning of the year. Communication comes in a variety of ways including physical mail, emails, social media and outreach from the Sister Outreach Team. Does reaching out to members to celebrate with them sound like fun? Share your interest with the volunteer inbox to learn more.
why is celebrating milestones important and how can you get involved?
Recognizing a sister who has reached a significant anniversary in her membership is not only important to her, but it is also a great reminder to other sisters of the everlasting commitment we make to Alpha Chi Omega. There are many ways to celebrate together! You may consider a few of the ideas below, but we encourage you to get creative!
Recognize all alumnae chapter members reaching a milestone at the next Founders’ Day event.
Celebrate milestones at the next homecoming or chapter anniversary event.
Come together at an alumna’s home with local sisters for a milestone ceremony and cake.
Visit an assisted living facility to recognize a local 75-year member.
Invite 10-year anniversary members to attend Hall of Commitment for graduating seniors to serve as young alumnae examples of the lifetime experience.
Host a milestone ceremony for 10-, 25-, 50-, 60- and 75-year members at the next event hosted with the alumnae and collegiate chapter.
IS THERE A CEREMONY THAT GOES WITH THE PINS?
Each milestone has a corresponding ceremony. The ceremonies are open and can be performed and attended by non-members of Alpha Chi Omega. All ceremonies can be found in the Resource Center and are reminders of the commitment we each made to Alpha Chi Omega.

Purchase a Milestone Pin
If you are celebrating 10, 25, 50 or 60 years of membership in Alpha Chi Omega, you can purchase a milestone pin directly through our jewelry vendor, Herff Jones. Alpha Chi Omega’s 75-year members receive their pin as a gift from the Fraternity.

REQUEST A 75-YEAR PIN AS A GIFT
Alpha Chi Omega honors its 75-year members by giving them their pin as a gift from the Fraternity. To receive your 75-year pin or to learn how to request it for a sister, please contact October Davis at 317-579-5050 or via email.
what if the milestone year has already passed?
Alpha Chi Omega recognizes that time can fly by and members may miss the opportunity to purchase a pin in the exact year they are celebrating their milestone. We encourage all members interested in celebrating their milestone to purchase the milestone pin(s) they feel best represents their membership. If a member is celebrating her 59th year of membership and would like to purchase her 50-year pin and 60-year pin (in preparation for the upcoming 60-year anniversary), we support her enthusiasm and desire to celebrate!
Are milestones celebrated at convention?
There is an additional opportunity for members celebrating 50-, 60- or 75-year milestones to be recognized during our national convention each biennium. Our convention milestone celebration is an opportunity for sisters to be pinned by a member of the National Council.
