Brittany Purdy, Iota Omicron
is a registered nurse in Lynchburg, Va. She is a domestic violence survivor and speaks around Lynchburg about her experience. Brittany is marrying her longtime boyfriend, Zack Brown, on October 23, 2010.

Jackie Cipa, Kappa Nu
Received her Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management from the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh in April. Jackie has accepted an offer from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to work in the Office of Financial Management in Baltimore, MD.

Has published her first novel, a young adult fantasy titled Jon Hansen and the Dragon Clan of Yden. The story features two dragons who are red and green!

Is engaged to Derek Warren, a Phi Gamma Delta from Florida International University. The couple celebrated at a recent engagement party in Jupiter, Florida with her soon-to-be bridesmaids, five Beta Eta alumnae.

Pamela Woods-Jackson, Psi
Has published her debut novel, a young adult book entitled Confessions of a Teenage Psychic, published by The Wild Rose Press. In addition to writing, Pamela teaches high school English in the Indianapolis Public School system and lives in Carmel, Indiana.

Caitlyn Kilburn Bagale, Zeta Omega
Mason David Bagale was born to Caitlyn and Christopher Bagale on September 4, 2009 at 12:14pm at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He weighed 9lbs 4.5oz and 21 inches long. Caitlyn is a 2006 initiate of the Zeta Omega chapter at Western Carolina University and is currently pursuing a degree in English at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Christopher is currently serving our country in Iraq. Father and son met for the first time a week after Mason’s birth when Christopher came home for two weeks.

Lyn Mandigo, Zeta Lambda
Married Michael Langman (Sigma Pi fraternity) on September 12, 2009 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Lyn is a 2004 initiate and served as Zeta Lambda Chapter President. The couple dated throughout college and while they both completed their Masters degrees in accounting at the University of Virginia. Alpha Chi Omega bridesmaids included Kathleen O’Brien and Meghan Stahling. Michael and Lyn reside in Arlington, Virginia and are both employed by KPMG.

Mehrnaz S. Gill, Gamma Phi
Recently published her first children's book, The Yellow Butterfly. Mehrnaz is a busy wife, mother and community volunteer. She has a Master of Science degree in Gerontology and has devoted her time both professionally and personally to causes that relate to the elderly and their well-being. She is especially interested in intergenerational programs involving children and older adults. She has received many honors, including the ABC/Channel 13 Woman of Distinction Award and the Excellence in Bloom Award. She shares herself generously with many deserving organizations, including the Huffington Center on Aging, The Partnership for Baylor College of Medicine, The Amazing Place, The Junior League of Houston, Open Door Mission, The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, SIAWE, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. She lives in Houston with her husband and their two children.

Leslie Peterson, Gamma Rho
Married Ben Cunningham on July 18, 2009 in Carmel, California. Leslie recently accepted the position of vice president of sales for VYBRANZ, a global company specializing in rapid, innovative expense management and cost-reduction solutions. She is a past chapter consultant and currently serves as the recruitment advisor for Iota Sigma at Southern Methodist University. Leslie and Ben reside in Dallas Texas with their dog Koby.

Married Matthew Moneck (Theta Chi Fraternity) on Sept 5, 2009. Alpha Chi Omega bridesmaids included Erin Fallon (Muse), Betsy Stewart (Korb), Jessica Freider and Kelly Christy (Davis), all sisters of Delta Chapter. Beth works as Child Life Specialist at Children Hospital of Pittsburgh and Matt is a Post Doctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. Beth and Matt met at Allegheny College. Beth and Matt met at Allegheny College and reside in Pittsburgh, PA.

Recently named President of Chi Chi Alumnae Chapter in Pittsburgh, Pa. Chi Chi was founded as an Alumnae Club in 1915 and was officially chartered October 18, 1929 and installed by National President Ethel Meade Van Auken.
Amie Sosko Murphy, Delta
Has moved to Algeria with her husband Brian and daughter Cailyn. Amie and her family will spend two years in Algeria. Prior to the move Amie worked as a Senior Trial Attorney at the Deportment of Justice.

Presented with the 2009 Affiliates Award for outstanding contribution and dedication to the advancement of the paralegal profession at the National Association of Legal Assistant's 34th Annual Convention in San Diego in July 2009. She was also the recipient of the 2009 Affiliated Associations Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of outstanding volunteer service."
